minimalist decor street noise

i found the room's decor a bit too minimalist, it was mostly white with just one blue wall and no artwork at all. i am not sure if all the rooms are like that. being on the first floor, it got quite noisy starting around 6 am, i think my room was above the breakfast area. also, the windows did not block out the street noise very well, though luckily there wasn't much traffic.
